Chuggin Edits – Suddenly I Thought (Merry Christmas from Alpaca Edits).

An early Christmas present via the excellent Alpaca Edits as one of the Kings of the edits scene gets to grips with Herbie Hancocks 1978 disco gem ‘I thought it was you’.

Chuggin Edits has kept this one simple sprucing up the drums and giving it a brilliant re-arrangement for today’s listeners. ‘I Thought It Was You’ is a really stunning piece of jazz influenced disco and it’s got a real warmth about it which shines through on the dance-floor. This is a track that you could literally drop at any time from the warm up to the peak moments to your last track and it’s going to go off. Expect smiles all round.
