Taken from his 1977 album Slick ‘Intimate Friends’ is a very tasty slice of laidback soul from one of the greatest voices of the 60’s & 70’s. Eddie Kendricks was a founding member of the Temptations whom he would guide to multiple chart successes as lead vocalist including featuring on ‘Get Ready’ and ‘Just my imagination (running away with me)’ before releasing 13 studio albums and multiple chart topping singles of his own.

DJ XS has produced a nice tight edit here with solid additional drums and an increased tempo to take it from the (very) horizontal to the end of the night dancefloor. Nice work!
