Mighty Mouse – The Spirit (Glitterbox)

If you are looking for peak-time high energy disco influenced house music it simply does not come any bigger than ‘The Spirit’, the new track by Mighty Mouse. Originally championed by Horse Meat Disco it was picked up for a full release when label boss Simon Dunmore heard them drop it at Glitterbox in Ibiza over the summer.

Combining a monster funky as hell bass-line with energetic percussion, ridiculously huge risers and a sublime disco diva vocal this one is pretty much production perfection.

With Glitterbox now behind it, it’s pretty much guaranteed that ‘The Spirit’ will be the go to track for DJ’s looking to create dance-floor scenes for the foreseeable future.
