Modesta – Braodway to Bombay

Based in Boston, Modesta dropped their latest EP a couple of weeks ago and lead track Broadway to Bombay is an absolute scorcher. It’s packed with indie aesthetics but combined with a lush soulful modern disco vibe. The vocals are slick and mesmerising, the guitar licks powerful but not overpowering whilst the drumming perfectly drives the track along. It’s a track with many influences, from Chromeo to 80’s boogie via early twenty-tens Nu Disco but it still achieves a very current sound and is very much uniquely Modesta.

This is a band that we expect to hear very big things about in the future.
