LV Premier – Ralph Session – Brooklyn Disco [Razor-N-Tape]
Razor-N-Tape top off another excellent year with the release of the third edition of their Family Affair series which brings together incredible artists from all over the globe. The compilation features label regulars Cody Currie, Cor.ece, JKriv, Saucy Lady and Guinu and teams them up with newcomers inclduing Kim Anh, Prince of Queens, Yuu Udagawa, Gene Tellem.
Our premier from the album today comes from LV regular Ralph Session, an artist who has grown in stature and production ability every year since we started following him. His track Brooklyn Disco is right up there with his finest work and see’s him mine his own clubbing experiences to deliver a hypnotic slice of powerhouse disco edged house.
Replete with swirling vocals stabs, a sublime hook, a looped up driving bassline and euphoric synth chords they are perfectly paired with laser keys to deliver bags of energy and excitement. Add in an abundance of movement across the track to keep things interesting and this is a real showcase for Ralph’s blossoming talent.
