Hailing from Turkey ‘Headwaters’ will be dropping their ‘Spirit EP’ next week on the immense Barcelona / Istanbul based Petra Recordings.

Our premier today is ‘Spirit’, 8 minutes of perfectly crafted sonic sounds operating in the grey area where house music becomes techno. It’s a fusion of delicate melodies and industrial synths, all linked together by an incessant bassline. Spirit is a track which effortlessly glides from the speakers, along the way sounds develop then disappear replaced by simple but devastating melodies. A fantastic listen but also a serious club track.

The other 3 tracks on the EP are ‘Juniper’ a delicate house track, with a haunting piano melody which will become an ear worm for all who listen. ‘Incantation’ a more direct and powerful house track with surging synths and great drum programming and ‘Kuş’ a track produced with Doruk Guralp, another haunting house track.
