With a much anticipated album on the way, Love, Care, Kindness, and Hope, Fred Everything unleashes single 3 from the album this week to get us in the mood. And what a brilliant preview it is with Soul Love featuring none other than UK electronic legends The Stereo MC’s on vocal duties.
Perhaps best know for their party rousing dance/ hip hop crossover anthems of the 90s the Stereo MC’s have been omnipresent on the scene since and are behind the brilliant Connected label which specialises in house music from deep to afro. Make sure you check it out.
Soul Love is a deep, warm, hypnotic slice of broken beat and Stereo MC’s frontman Rob delivers a captivating vocal. This is music for the afterparty, for those long nights, endless mornings when you find condensation dripping down the windows, and take solace in a warm embrace. It’s very classy indeed and another sign post of something extremely special incoming from Fred.
