London’s Soundsmith has become a firm fixture on the Disco Express label and quite rightly so after a string of excellent disco edged house releases covering many edges of the disco universe. His latest release see’s him step up with the four track Globally Sourced EP which as the title suggests mines it’s influences from all four corners of the globe.

From the classic filtered vocal disco of Keep Moving via the looped up Latin funk of Aye Oh and onto the synth led Afro Italo of Rise Again it’s an EP which isn’t afraid to experiment.

Our premier today is the Bollywood disco of Disco Dancer which see’s a head on collision between two completely different musical continents and comes out feeling super fresh. With the addition of a punchy synth bass and vocal loops in all the right place it packs a colourful dancefloor punch.
