Ten Fingerz is one of the heads behind the excellent French label Frappe which we have been covering a lot recently. Stepping out from his home turf, his next release is a wonderful slice of house music celebrating the life of José Padilla. Having previously lived in Scotland here he teams up with Glasgow based label Dealt With Records.
This is a wonderful homage to José perfectly capturing that Ibizan club flair with hypnotic synth licks, dreamy spoken vocals and acidic lines. Couple this with thumping club drums a chugger of a bassline and this is all round club heat which has 90’s NYC edges as well as that Balearic feel running through it’s DNA.
