Hailing from Egypt Mr Moudz is well known as a resident in the party enclave of Sharm El Shiekh where he regularly plays at all of the biggest clubs in the area including Pacha, Privilege, Space, Pataya & Eden
His latest track comes out on the Starred label which is a brand new venture from one half of Milk & Sugar Steven ‘Sugar’ Harding.
My Soul is the funky end of the tech specturm and as such it hearkens back to some of the peak time anthems of the mid to late 00’s. Built on a big bubbly bouncing bassline it has plenty of energy, add in the looped up My Soul vocal sample and you already have a great groove. All of this sets the scene perfectly for the piano lines and sax loops. It’s a deceptive track, it sounds simple but there is plenty going on in there to keep the dancefloor locked through out.
If you love your tech funky and peak-time then this is definitely one for the collection.
