Secret Soul Society are back with a brand new EP on 23rd Feb via the always classy Citizens of Vice label. Indeed Feel The Need is packed with 4 tracks of Balearic disco bliss, just the way we love it.
Secret Soul Society have been building a rather voracious following over the last couple of years delivering time and again as they strive to keep the Balearic soul alive and vibrant and this EP will keep that momentum rolling nicely.
Our premier today from the EP is Ruby Blues a deep low-slung funker, utilising a rather cheeky sample it’s got both the immediate impact and also bags and bags of head nodding, a*s shakin’ groove. This one will sound just perfect round that Pikes pool once we hit the summer season.
The three other tracks veer from the cosmic groove of Feel The Need to the Fleetwood Mac-esque cool of Whole Wide World and onto the bubbling blue eyed soul On The Way to Memphis.
