Husband and wife duo Womack and Womack released their eponymous track ‘Teardrops’ in 1986. Taken from the album ‘Conscience’ it would go onto be a worldwide smash and one of the stand-out tracks of the 80’s.
Swiss producer Adam Nova has taken this one on and brought it bang up to date for the dance-floors of 2018. Giving it a disco house spin he has built the track up perfectly using some smooth filters and perfectly judged loops.
Everything about this track is feel-good, the bass-line is warm and funky and Adam has retained all that is great about the vocal adding in some chucky drums and a solid dance-floor friendly structure.
