One of the most exciting female singer songwriters around right now Amy Douglas continues what has been a phenomenal 2019 with the launch of her own label Lady Balls. On the strength of her first single Cities in Dust, a cover of Siouxsie and the Banshees epic tale of Pompeii, it’s a label from which we can expect some spectacular music in the year ahead.
This a is a track which just screams excitement. Whilst beautifully paying homage to the original Amy’s version channels a definite gritty New York sound, the synths are to the fore framing Amy’s powerful vocal perfectly. It’s packed with energy and excitement.
Amy has lit up our 2019 with a series of incredible track and features, she is an artist with a truly inspiring work rate and we can’t wait to see what she has in store for us in the year ahead.
