Landing yesterday French artist Godford’s Better Place is a super groove heavy electronic cut. The drums are tight and packed with energy, the synths smooth and hypnotic and the vocal has both soul and grace.
If you were a fan of Caribou’s classic Can’t Do Without You this one is most definitely for you sharing some of the same deep looped up aesthetics.
Godford is a putting together both a strong body of work and a vocal following. On the strength of Better Place we would expect this following to grow quickly.
