LV Premier – Manakinz – Fall Into A Trance [Model Citizenz]
Manakinz are Scottish duo James ‘Harri’ Harrigan and Max Raskin. Harri of is a hero of Scottish electronic music being one of the heads behind the renowned Subculture nights at Glasgow’s temple to the underground the The Sub Club. Max is another Glasgow player, formerly of the Liquid Lounge and Sunday Circus.
Their collaboration Manakinz has been building nicely over the last few years with some tight releases on Let’s Play House, Future Boogie, Monologues, Refuge and Mitchell Street.
The Whim! EP is their second on their own Model Citizenz imprint which they minted to host their vast back catalogue of music. To give you an idea of just how much music they are sitting on this EP hosts no less that 7 cuts all designed for open minded quality dancefloors in dark rooms.
Our premier today is Fall Into A Trance, a throbbing monster of a house track which with an every so noticable touch of French disco. It’s all about the ‘Fall Into A Trance’ vocal hook which grabs the listener close with the aim of helping them into that Trance, all very meta and all ridiculously dope.
