Rookley – La Haine

Inspired by the 1995 Mathieu Kassowitz motion picture of the same name this is a beautiful example of downtempo electronica. Built around Vangelis-esqe synths La Haine glides along effortlessly.

Citing Jamie XX and the Gorillaz as influences we can definitely see both here. The beats are extremely well programmed and the melodies shine through.
