As feel good summer anthems go, Yam Who? and Jaegerossa’s re-imagining of Hungry For Your Love, which features a dynamite vocal performance from Brian Lucas, is right up there for unadulterated joyous feel-good summery bliss.
Landing in Original and Live From Philly mixes, which are accompanied by an Instrumental and Radio edit, it’s got the glitter strewn disco floors covered. Brian’s soaring vocals are ably supported by hooky brass licks, a funky bass line, hammond stabs with some great percussion tying everything together.
It’s difficult to choose between the in your face soulful pop vibe of the original and the stripped back, slightly tougher, Philly edit and both mixes will definitely find their supporters in the coming months.
