LV Premier – Bruce Leroys & Helóra – Tempo (Art Of Tones Remix) [Aureum]

Previously featured in our Disco Juice column as one of the Essential Disco releases for May we are very pleased today to premier the Art of Tones Remix of Bruce Leroys & Helóra’s ‘Tempo’.

Landing on brand new label Aureum their debut single is a huge statement about the quality and future direction of the label. In Bruce Leroy’s (Aureum A&R) words “We believe that the first EP of a label should be emblematic in several dimensions, it should demonstrate the values and artistic vision of its members unequivocally. Ours are equity, musicality and the relentless pursuit of technical and artistic excellence.”

Safe to say that we agree whole-heartedly with that mission statement and their debut single ticks all of those boxes and more. Art of Tones has been a long time Le Visiteur favourite and here he delivers a masterful remix. Deliciously funky, Tempo is a 2023 boogie Masterclass. Featuring a sumptuous vocal from poet and singer Helóra Galhardo its a real landmark release which showcases yet again just what an incredible place Disco is in right now.

Also featuring on this release is deep and delicious Dub mix from Bruce Leroy’s, twisted percussion, hypnotic loopy vocals and heavy groove give this a real 4am feel and opens the track up for a wide range of dancefloors.

We are very much looking forward to seeing what else Aureum has up it’s sleeve in the coming months.
