New York Born, Madrid domiciled Casbah 73 has been on fire over the last couple of years tearing it up with some sublime releases on Lovemonk, Boogie Angst and Glitterbox. Creating modern disco very much in his own image his tracks always stand out with obvious care attention to detail and a whole lot of love injected into their DNA.
His latest see’s him continue his ongoing patnership with the excellent Madrid based Lovemonk imprint which has previously borne some real gems. They have quite handily brought in Disco legend Dimitri From Paris on remix duties of Doing Our Own Thing and as you might expect from this heady combination of exciting upstart and legendary production wizard the resulting track is pretty incredible.
From the opening brass and percussion salvo you know it’s going to be a track packed with energy, add in smile inducing keys, sultry Chic-esque strings and a monstrous bassline and it’s a track with all the feel good energy you need to fill dancefloors the world over.
