LV Premier – Down Slow (JKriv Edit) [Pantai People]
JKriv keeps his golden 2022 going with a brilliant four track EP on Bali’s Pantai People vinyl label which has already wowed with recent classy releases from Austin Ato and label boss Marc Roberts.
Our premier from the EP is Down Slow with it’s gorgeous laidback funk edged disco, laser synths and a sublime female vocal. It’s a track which will sound just as cool beside the pool as it would on the dancefloor.
Think Chic given a super sexy low slung makeover and you are down the right path.
Across the other tracks on Mountains and The House Jkriv has sliced up and reworked two tasty 70’s disco cuts, giving them all of the juice needed for the 2022 dancefloor, the latter being a sultry version of House of the Rising Sun which will go down a treat with the sing-along crowd.
Final track Terra Amor is a party Latin edged jam, live feel good summery vibes all the way.
