Le Visiteur Spin City Radio – DJ Mix August 2023
Le Visiteur was back on the Spin City airwaves over the Bank Holiday week-end and put together a high energy feel good set fitting to the occasion. As always I pulled together tracks from the back end of the vinyl cupboard and mixed them up with some of the foil fresh promos that have landed in the Le Visiteur digital inbox over the last couple of months.
Keeping things nice and funky from the outset I kicked things off with yet another big one from the studio of Jaegerossa in the shape of Richards Gear, a funk vocal track seemingly perfectly suited lyric wise to the producer. Following this up sharply is a big Moodena remix from a huge EP from the Disco Express, possibly their finest release to date. And delivering on a perfect trifecta to kick things off is a brand new joint from For The Culture, Nightlife is looped up disco house perfection.
This is a mix of real stand-out tracks but other notables are Sophie Lloyd and Amy Douglas’s ace vocal gem Sweet Love, which is also worth tracking down for the wicked original mix. Honey Dijon’s It’s Quiet Now features on her brand new Slap! EP which is borderline ridiculous for it’s quality across all three tracks, each one a production masterclass. Another must track down joint is the Hotmood remix of Dicky Trisco’s Discoteca which adds some extra oomph into what is already a brilliant track.
