LV Premier – Lovebirds Ft Declan McDermott – Mar-A-lago
German producer Sebastian Döring, aka Lovebirds has been behind some truly classic tracks over the last few years and here he is back with a vengeance delivering a sublime two track EP Mar-A-Lago alongside multi-instrumentalist Declan McDermott in what is a real stars aligning story which threw the two of them brought together in the studio.
The met when Lovebirds put his old Studer console for sale a few years back.. Hitting it off immediately they were soon in the studio together working on tracks and with Declan’s skills bridging guitar, bass, keys, vocals, drums and percussion alongside Lovebirds increidble touch in the studio it’s turned into an unstoppable pairing.
Our premier today is lead track from the Ep ‘Sunset Theme’ which just exudes summer bliss. Described by the label as ‘Azymuth meets Patrice Rushen with too much tape delay’ it’s a description which sums the track up perfectly.
The flip side ‘Great Ocean Road’ is another blissful instrumental gem, which also features none other than Black Loops on the drums.
A delicious double header with support is already incoming from some real heavy hitters in the shape of Glenn Underground, Danny Tenaglia, Luke Solomon, Oliver Dollar, Faze Action, Harri Harrigan, Mr V & Hector Romero.
