Madrid’s Javi Frias has been an avid music collector and DJ since the 90’s with a serious passion for soul, funk, disco, boogie and house.
The last few years have seen him steadily rise up through the ranks of the disco community with regular classy releases hitting the charts with some serious big name DJ support.
Javi is also behind the excellent Nightshift Records.
His latest EP for the label features four well crafted edits all with some serious dancefloor clout from deep groovers to vocal bliss to feel-good soul.

Kicking off with our premier today Party Music it’s a smooth deep groove of a vocal disco track. Chic-esque guitar licks, a dancefloor motor of a bass-line, subtle filters in all the right places and an ever so soulful vocal all come together perfectly for a seriously classy track.
Keep On is another slice of feel-good disco bliss. Delightful strings put you immediately in the dancefloor mood before the ever so sexy vocal. This is proper 70’s disco brought back to life beautifully.
The flip kicks off with So Tight, a percussive disco anthem. A funk in overdrive bassline keeps the floor shaking in unison before another super slick female vocal locks things in tight.
Seeing the EP out is the super soulful Everything, heartwarming dance-floor soul at it’s finest.
