Afterlife is one of the stand-out Balearic producers with a longstanding affinity with the genre. His latest EP Into The Heat lands just in time for what would customarily have been the summer season hitting it’s high point. It’s a divine EP featuring three original tracks and two remixes of sun infused liquid beats designed for sipping cocktails in an Ibizan suntrap but which sound pretty much perfect anywhere you can close your eyes and imagine the sun is shining. From the deep groove inducing percussion and lazer synths of Into The Heat to the swirling sexiness of Wanderlust, and the effortlessly enticing African melodies of Jolly Up it’s an EP which captivates from first note to last.
To spice things up a little Afterlife has also drafted in Italian prodcuer DJ Rocca who lends his extensive skills with two superb remixes. First up is our premier today the Erodisco remix of Si Si Si, a stylish slice of Balearic Disco which you can check above. His second mix is poles apart with and the deep swirling electronic thoughtfulness of his Dark Art Mix. Two very contrasting but equally classy remixes.
