Our premier today Playground Samba was a track that we fell in love with straight from the first listen. Smooth, deep and hypnotic it’s packed with great percussion and the keys are wonderful. Taken from a three track EP of the same name Coflo is definitely and artist that we will be keeping a close eye on in 2020.
The EP also features False Features, a deep groove infused broken beat track. Very cool it’s definitely one for the heads.
Rescue Me features an off-beat handclap motif which is quite unusual but really engaging. It provides the motor for what is smooth yet percussive track with an ever so hypnotic vocal.
A cool EP all round which is already picking up support from some serious tastmakers including Spinna, Osunlade, Alton Miller, Jimpster and David Harness.
