LV Premier – Cøhen – Strangers [Villes Et Fleurs]
Cøhen has been a breath of fresh air since his relatively recent arrival on the scene. His tracks via Tropical Disco Records, Masterworks and Villes et Fleurs have been well crafted and packed with the feel-good. Well chosen samples and very well executed production have been a trademark.
For his latest release he is back on Villes et Fleurs with Strangers. It’s a strong match given the label have also been tearing it up over last year with a stream of brilliant releases. You can check a couple we have featured recently HERE. Again Strangers is a seriously smooth slice of disco edged house. Reminiscent of the band Change in sound the brass jousts with the funky guitar licks providing a perfect arrangement to harness what is a quality vocal.
Cøhen is an artist that we are going to be watching closely as he has everything that he needs to be challenging for the top echelons of the Download charts in the coming months and when things get back to some semblance of normality we fully expect to see him hitting some major events.
