St Petersburg native Sun Rhythms has delivered a rather sexy EP via Dobro. The First Touches EP is fusion of sexy deep house, Latin Disco, and sparkling 80’s soul.
The EP opens with our premier today Better To Love with it’s 80’s Groove leanings. It’s the perfect track to turn up the heating to and completely ignore the incoming grey notes of winter if you are in the Northern Hemisphere with it’s warm tones and ever so sultry vocal.
Next up is the party heat of Torro La Fiesta, another sun laden gem. One Day Happiness meanwhile takes things off on a deeper tip with it’s 90’s deep house overtones. It’s perfect for those lazy afternoon Ibizan sets. The final track Out Away is the perfect set closer, touching on that 90’s dream house territory with it’s subtle keys, gentle flute notes and throbbing bassline.
An excellent EP all round to banish the incoming winter straight back to where it came from.
