LV Premier – Sebb Junior – Sound Of Life (Original Mix) [Papa Records]
We have followed Sebb Junior for a few years here at LV. He’s a producer who always turns out crisp, delicious and eminently danceable house music. If you are looking to fill you floors and hold them tight you should definitely be checking out his now extensive back catalogue which has seen him land on Reel People, No Fuss, IRMA, Milk & Sugar, Large, Sub_Urban, Mood Funk, King Street, La Vie D’artiste, Let there Be House and a myriad of other brilliant labels.
His latest release see’s him land on one of the best out there, Oli Lazarus’s Papa with the sublime Sound of Life. A classic house jam all the way with it’s incessant vocal stabs, rock solid bass synth, subtle brass and vibraphone.
We asked Sebb about the track:
“I made this track in the spirit of the sunset terrace bars in Ibiza where DJs set the mood for the night to come. This track has influences of Afro house vibes while keeping my Deep House sound signature.
I used Arturia’s excellent emulation of the Juno 60 along with a Reaktor bass patch from NI and I’ve added some pitched down vocals samples.
Papa Records has released so much great music over the years, I’m thankful that they are letting me release this track under their label, once again.
