Landing on the 26th February via Mostly Cosy, which is a sub label of Sune’s Honey Butter Records, Jakob Apelian’s Alfred is part of the Patiently Waiting compilation. Dedicated to making everyone as “comfortable as possible as we patiently wait for the dust to clear and better days to appear” when we can finally all hit the dancefloor again, it’s a smooth and rewarding compilation.
The compilation is packed with some serious deep house gems across a variety of styles from Jazzy to filtered, dusty to deep and euphoric/. It features many LV favourites including Saine, Vigi, Iner, Soultronic and Jehan to name but a few. It’s a compilation that is well worth checking out.

Jakobs track Alfred is deep jazzy affair with super tight production. A warm comfort blanket of sorts. It’s 70’s overtones are augmented by some super solid drum programming and funk guitars which give it a dancefloor lilt.
