Dropping at the tail end of the 2019 ‘Open Exchange Vol 1: Motor City to Erotic City’ was a split five track EP featuring tracks from Detroit’s Javonntte and Minneapolis Lowry boys. Our premier today is Pianoman a deep as you like house track. Chunky drums, drive the track as smooth pads, sparse keys and multiple vocal layers give it tons of depth. The looped up Diana Ross gives it ear worm qualities a plenty.
The digital EP also features the previously unreleased Javonntte jam Afrocuba another super deep offering who’s bass runs give it an enthralling energy while the synth line hooks it into a hypnotic vein.
