Launched back in 2015 Closer To Truth is a label which has already built a wonderful reputation as one of the finest house labels out there. A combined project between Alex Agore & David Nicol their releases are consistently brilliant. It’s a label which has caught our attention on many occasions with releases from some of the finest underground heads out there including Phaze Dee, Intr0beatz, Wearing Shoes, Manuel Costela and Hotevilla.
Their latest EP comes from UK producer Marlon George and features the might of Intr0beatz and Mathew Ferness on remix duties, both of whom turn in fierce remixes.
Our premier today is the Original Mix of & The Tears and it’s a classic slice of deep house music with powerful drums, a groove of a bassline, layers of atmospherics and sax licks drifting in and out of the mix providing plenty of swirling drama.
