LV Premier – Silk – Somethin’ ‘Bout The Way (Late Nite Tuff Guy Short Edit) [A’s And Bees]
Late Nite Tuff guy is one of the legends of the modern disco scene and indeed one of the artists who helped set the scene back in motion over the last 15 years. Having delivered a multitude of sure-fire edits over the years we always keep a keen eye out for his latest releases.
His latest outing see’s him go to work on a previously unreleased Silk track Somethin’ ‘Bout the way which was recently rediscovered and dates back to their 70’s heyday, so something of a holy grail release.
As you might expect from one of Philly International’s finest as reworked by LNTG this one is really special from the euphoric pianos to the immense vocal. The 1970’s loss is definitely our gain in 2023.
It’s released via the excellent A’s and Bee’s and as always with the label 50% of the profits from this release will be donated towards the British Beekeepers Association.
